The Howley Foundation was well represented at St. Martin de Porres High School’s Back-to-School Cookout on August 19, 2019. Executive Director, PJ Reindel, joined members of the Howley family to celebrate the Howley Scholars, their achievements, and the kick-off of an exciting new school year. Nick Howley’s presentation about “How and Why” his family originally began to support Saint Martin was the perfect inspiration for all –  encouraging the students to work hard this year and engendering a great deal of gratitude in all present for the Foundation’s support through the years. Mike Howley enjoyed the time he spent with the students and their families and Lorie Howley proudly presented the students with commemorative Howley Scholar pins. St. Martin also provided each student with a Howley Scholar fleece pullover, perfect for the Fall weather. Sounds like it will be a successful school year for these Howley Scholars!
